The purpose of this study was to improve the ability to follow a two-step
direction of one preschool student diagnosed with developmental delays. In order to
improve the participant’s skill in this area the we examined the effects of picture
prompting. The outcomes indicated that our participant improved his skills at
following two step directions. We also reduced the number of redirections needed by
our participant to complete his tasks. This study extended the previous research on
the topic by testing a self-monitoring picture prompting intervention in a way that can
be used in a naturalistic classroom setting. - Downloads
