The journal ensures that every manuscript is evaluated solely on its academic quality, originality, and contribution to the fields of English language, literature, linguistics, and education. Double-Blind Peer Review

IJEE follows a double-blind peer-review system to ensure an impartial and unbiased evaluation process. The identities of both authors and reviewers remain confidential throughout the review process. This approach promotes objective assessment based entirely on the scholarly merit, originality, and relevance of the submitted manuscript.

Preliminary Editorial Assessment

Every manuscript submitted to the journal undergoes an initial evaluation by the editorial office. During this stage, the manuscript is assessed to determine whether it:

Reviewer Assignment

Research Design and Methodology

Organization and Presentation

The manuscript should be well structured, logically organized, and written in clear academic English. Reviewers assess the clarity of objectives, literature review, methodology, results, discussion, conclusion, tables, figures, and references.

Literature and Referencing

Authors are expected to provide a comprehensive review of relevant literature and use appropriate citation and referencing styles. Reviewers evaluate whether references are current, relevant, and properly cited.

Ethical Compliance

Reviewers verify that the manuscript complies with accepted standards of publication ethics, including originality, proper authorship, responsible research practices, conflict of interest disclosure, and ethical approval where applicable.

Reviewer Recommendations

Following a thorough evaluation, reviewers submit detailed comments and recommendations to assist both the editors and the authors. The recommendations generally fall into one of the following categories:

• Accept – The manuscript is suitable for publication without further revisions or with only minor editorial corrections.
• Minor Revision – The manuscript requires limited revisions before it can be considered for publication.
• Major Revision – Substantial revisions are required, after which the revised manuscript will undergo further evaluation.
• Reject – The manuscript does not meet the journal's publication standards or falls outside the journal's scope.

Reviewers are encouraged to provide constructive, objective, and professional comments that help authors improve the quality and clarity of their work.

Revision Process

Authors receiving revision requests should submit a revised manuscript together with a detailed response explaining how each reviewer comment has been addressed. Revised submissions may be returned to the original reviewers for further assessment before a final editorial decision is made.

Editorial Decision

The final publication decision rests with the Editor-in-Chief or the designated handling editor. Editorial decisions are based on the reviewers' recommendations, the academic quality of the manuscript, its originality, methodological soundness, and its relevance to the journal's scope.
