Privacy Statement

The International Journal of English and Education (IJEE) recognize the importance of safeguarding the personal information of its contributors and users. Information collected during manuscript submission, editorial assessment, peer review, and publication—including names, email addresses, institutional affiliations, and other relevant contact details—is used solely for managing journal activities and facilitating scholarly communication.

Personal information is processed only for legitimate publishing purposes and is not rented, sold, or shared with external organizations for commercial use. Access to such information is limited to individuals directly involved in the editorial and publication workflow, including editors, reviewers, and authorized publishing staff.

Every reasonable effort is made to protect personal data through secure systems and responsible data management practices. Statistical or administrative reports may use aggregated information that cannot identify individual users.

By submitting a manuscript, accepting a review invitation, or communicating with the journal, users acknowledge and agree to the collection and use of their information in accordance with this Privacy Statement. Ethical Statement

The International Journal of English and Education (IJEE) is committed to fostering responsible research and ethical publishing practices. The journal encourages honesty, originality, accountability, and professional conduct from everyone involved in the publication process to ensure the credibility and quality of published scholarship.

1.       Responsibilities of Authors

             ·         Manuscripts submitted to the journal must represent original scholarly work that has not been published or simultaneously submitted elsewhere. 

             ·         Authors are responsible for ensuring that all sources are appropriately acknowledged and that the manuscript does not contain plagiarism or misleading information. 

             ·         Authorship should accurately reflect the contributions of all individuals who participated substantially in the research and writing of the manuscript. 

             ·         Any financial support, institutional assistance, or potential conflicts of interest related to the research should be clearly disclosed. 

             ·         When research involves human participants, authors must confirm that the study was conducted in accordance with applicable ethical principles and institutional requirements.

2.       Responsibilities of Reviewers

             ·         Reviewers play a vital role in maintaining the academic quality of the journal by providing objective, timely, and constructive evaluations. 

             ·         All manuscripts received for review must be treated as confidential documents and should not be shared or discussed with others without editorial approval. 

             ·         Reviews should focus on scholarly merit, originality, clarity, methodological soundness, and relevance to the journal's scope.

             ·         Reviewers who identify any conflict of interest or are unable to provide an impartial assessment should promptly notify the editorial office.

3.       Responsibilities of Editors

             ·         Editors are responsible for overseeing a transparent and unbiased editorial process while maintaining the confidentiality of submissions. 

             ·         Publication decisions are based exclusively on the academic value, originality, and relevance of the manuscript, without discrimination of any kind. 

             ·         Editors will take appropriate action whenever ethical concerns, complaints, or allegations of misconduct are raised during or after the publication process. 

             ·         Editorial decisions are made independently and are free from personal, institutional, or financial influence.

Academic Integrity

The journal maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward unethical publication practices, including plagiarism, duplicate publication, falsification or fabrication of data, citation manipulation, and inappropriate authorship. Any violation of these standards may result in rejection of the manuscript, withdrawal of a published article, or notification to the relevant institutions when necessary.

Transparency and Conflicts of Interest

All participants in the publication process—including authors, reviewers, and editors—are expected to disclose any relationships or circumstances that could influence their professional judgment. Such disclosures help ensure transparency and preserve the integrity of editorial decisions.
