Abstract

By acknowledging the importance of grammar, the study throws some light on the ways and techniques for teaching grammar and it is undertaken to find out the reason as to how and why the learners of English fail to acquire the use of English grammar while learning English. This study aims at developing grammatical competence among students. Since, grammar is an inseparable part of language teaching, this study tries to explore the strict confine to the learning on the use of English grammar at the higher secondary level.
