They are the teachers’ perception towards CLT, factors that inherent teachers to implement CLT in their class and also to know the difficulties in implementing CLT in Indonesia. The findings show that most teachers understand the concept of CLT well. However, problems like limited knowledge about the appropriate use of language in CLT, limited access to the target language’s culture, and limited time to develop materials for CLT are also become the main factors that hinder teachers to implement CLT in their teaching context. Finally, it is suggested that teachers are actually very willing to implement CLT in their classroom but they need to be trained and skilled to apply Communicative Language Teaching properly in their classroom.
